What’s Your Mission?
As IKONO’s Financial Controller, you’ll be at the heart of our financial strategy, ensuring clarity and control across our diverse portfolio. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you’ll lead critical financial operations, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and provide actionable insights that shape our business decisions and growth trajectory.
What You’ll Do:
Financial Management & Analysis
- Oversee and coordinate seamless monthly financial closings across multiple finance teams.
- Own the accuracy of profit and loss accounts for all IKONO entities, analyzing financial indicators to ensure excellence.
- Monitor budgets approved by the Board, identifying gaps and implementing corrective strategies to stay on track.
Reporting & Compliance
- Deliver clear, insightful monthly financial reports to senior leadership and the Board.
- Ensure compliance with global accounting standards and key contracts, adapting quickly to regulatory changes.
- Lead group-level financial consolidation and manage external audits with precision.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Inspire and mentor finance team members, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Build bridges between finance and operations, ensuring seamless alignment across all IKONO departments.
- Manage external advisor relationships, ensuring compliance and top-tier financial support.
Process Optimization
- Champion innovations in financial control, automating manual tasks to maximize efficiency.
- Lead risk analysis and cash flow management, promoting a proactive, resource-conscious mindset.
- Stay ahead of regulatory changes, guiding IKONO’s strategy to remain compliant and competitive.

What you bring:
- Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting. A Ms Degree would be a plus.
- 5+ yoe in financial controlling or external audit roles within international environments.
- Advanced Excel mastery, strong analytical abilities, and familiarity with SAP.
- Fluent in English and Spanish (min level required C1 or higher).
- Expertise in the Spanish general accounting plan, accounting principles, financial consolidation, and global compliance.
