YOUR MISSION 

The IKONO Budapest Marketing & Brand Specialist is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that enhance brand presence, drive engagement, and boost ticket sales in the Hungarian market. This role involves collaborating with global and local teams to ensure brand consistency, localizing marketing efforts, and managing relationships with local partners. 


WHAT YOU’LL DO 

Local Strategy 

  • Conduct local market research to understand customer needs, local market trends, and the local competitive landscape. 
  • Implement and localize the global marketing and communication strategy. 
  • Develop and implement country-specific marketing strategies that align with global and regional goals. 
  • Analyze local performance data to identify opportunities for growth and areas for improvement. 
  • Create and manage local marketing budgets, ensuring cost-effective spending. 

Brand and Communications Management 

  • Maintain and enhance the brand’s presence and reputation in the local market. 
  • Ensure consistency in brand messaging across all marketing channels, in the local language. 

Local Campaign Management 

  • Responsible for the local marketing action calendar. 
  • Plan, execute, and oversee the local marketing calendar, ensuring execution across various channels (digital, print, events, etc.). 
  • Coordinate with global marketing teams and local operations teams to ensure cohesive campaign execution. 
  • Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables. 

Local Brand Partnerships 

  • Identify potential brand partnerships aligned with business objectives. 
  • Collaborate with local brand partners to develop and execute joint marketing strategies and campaigns. 

Content and Communications Support 

  • Support global communications on the local PR strategy. 
  • Assist in planning and executing local events, trade shows, and conferences to promote the brand. 
  • Oversee the localization of global content to fit the cultural context of the target market. 
  • Ensure all content is consistent with brand guidelines and messaging. 

B2B Marketing Support 

  • Collaborate with the local B2B sales team to develop local marketing activations, materials, and tools that support sales efforts. 
  • Coordinate logistics, promotion, and follow-up activities for local events. 

Digital Marketing Support 

  • Oversee the country’s digital presence, including the website, social media platforms, and email marketing. 
  • Support local translation and optimization of digital campaigns for SEO and SEM. 

Production Support 

  • Collaborate with both the global Production and Content teams to organize and execute effectively photo-video productions in the spaces. 
  • Scouting of models, agencies, stylist, make-up artists, photographers, video makers and coordination of the logistics.

YOU BRING 

  • Proven experience of at least 2-3 years in a similar marketing role, working at the local level and ideally in international environments. 
  • Strong understanding of local market trends and consumer behavior in Hungary. 
  • 360° Marketing Vision / Holistic Approach: Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of all marketing channels and how they integrate to form a cohesive strategy. 
  • Ability to develop comprehensive marketing plans and strategies that align with overall and local business objectives and target audience needs. 
  • Proficiency in creating detailed project schedules and timelines, ensuring timely delivery of marketing initiatives and campaigns. 
  • Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights. 
  • Effective communication skills with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. 
  • Experience managing marketing budgets and navigating full-line processes with external vendors and agencies.
